Hi there,

Chris’s Corner

As I begin writing this, the snow is lightly falling outside my window, quietly turning the lawns from green to white. During the past nine months of the pandemic, I find that the days, weeks, and months flow into one another in a way they haven’t before. Sometimes, seeing the shifts in the weather and nature are the only things that indicate to me that time is passing. In less than two weeks it will be Christmas and that feels quite surreal. I’ve put up the tree, am making the cookies, planning a very small gathering for Christmas dinner, and yet, I'm still having difficulty grasping that it’s December and that the holiday is happening.
I've heard the same thing from others so I decided that talking about the 2020 Christmas/holiday season would be a good topic for this months’ newsletter article. In writing it, I was able to change my own mindset, always a good indicator that we choose what we need to learn!
All the best of the season to you and yours as you creatively navigate the holidays this year!

Quote of the month

―Rainer Maria Rilke
