I hope that everyone is having a wonderful summer!
It's such a short season in Ottawa so the past few years I’ve made sure that I take more time off to savour as much of it as I can. My word for this year is joy, so I’m also paying particular attention to noticing the beautiful colours of the flowers on my morning walk, really drinking in the beauty of my own garden (even when I need to spend a lot of time keeping weeds down and maintaining it 😊), getting out into nature as often as possible, socializing outdoors with friends, and playing pickleball outdoors when I can.
