It’s hard to believe that Christmas is a week away and that 2021 is quickly coming to a close! For me, this year has felt long at times, and the months also seem to have flown by. Our new normal has become getting together in smaller groups and experimenting with our individual comfort levels of easing into activities we haven’t participated in for many months. The shifting restrictions and openings and uncertainty about what is next is taking a tremendous toll on the mental health of many people and support services are needed now more than ever. As we all celebrate the holidays, I invite you to keep things simple, to expect that changes may have to be made, and most importantly, to schedule time for self-care into this season. Read on for lots of tips to help you do that.
